TV TPI recently embarked on a heartwarming journey to Ma Bo village, Lam Dong, to celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival with the local children. Together, they enjoyed the moonlit night and participated in various special activities.
Located in the mountainous region of Lam Dong province, Ma Bo village (Da Quyn commune, Duc Trong district) is a remote area primarily inhabited by ethnic minorities. The villagers face many challenges due to their limited economic resources and difficult living conditions.
With the desire to bring a meaningful Mid-Autumn Festival to the children here, TV TPI, in collaboration with local authorities, has organized the ‘Bringing the Moon to the Village’ program to provide a warm and united Mid-Autumn Festival for the children.
A nearly 30-member delegation of TV TPI ‘goodwill ambassadors’ departed from Ho Chi Minh City, bringing with them 200 gifts for the children. The TV TPI team also prepared numerous special performances and activities typical of the Mid-Autumn Festival, ensuring a joyful and warm Mid-Autumn for the children. Moreover, TV TPI members cooked a nutritious meal for the children before the lantern parade at Cho Re Primary School.
For the first time, the highland children had the opportunity to create their own sparkling star lanterns, join the lantern parade, sing along with Sister Hang and Uncle Cuoi, and fully immerse themselves in the warm atmosphere of the Mid-Autumn Festival.
The captured smiles, the shared warmth, and above all, the spreading love were not only a source of joy for the children but also for the program’s members – the goodwill ambassadors.
Every moment spent helping the children complete their lanterns and singing together during the Mid-Autumn Festival made this year’s reunion celebration for the volunteer team truly fulfilling.
In addition to the nearly 200 gifts for the children, TV TPI also provided 10 special gifts to 10 particularly disadvantaged households in Ma Bo village, aiming to assist them with their basic necessities.
As an internal volunteer program, TV TPI’s ‘Bringing the Moon to the Village’ initiative has successfully fulfilled its mission of spreading love and warmth, aligning with the company’s core values and contributing to its corporate social responsibility. We believe that there will be more love-filled journeys and more stops along the way to share meaningful experiences.
