On July 23, 2025, TV TPI collaborated with the Ho Chi Minh City Humanitarian Blood Donation Center to organize the voluntary blood donation program “Blood Donating – Sharing Hopes.” The initiative provided TV-ers with an opportunity to contribute to the community through a meaningful humanitarian act, reflecting the company’s ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility and community well-being.
BLOOD DONATION – A MEANINGFUL ACT OF GIVING
According to the Department of Health (2025), the shortage of blood reserves at blood banks has become a significant challenge, placing increasing pressure on emergency care and the treatment of patients requiring blood transfusions. Therefore, blood donations from volunteers play a vital role in supporting medical treatment, helping maintain an adequate blood supply to meet the needs of emergency care and healthcare services for the community.
As a company operating in the healthcare sector, TV TPI believes that every unit of donated blood is a priceless gift that can help save the lives of patients in need. Beyond its humanitarian value, blood donation is also a safe practice for healthy individuals. According to the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion, regular blood donation can stimulate the production of new blood cells, support overall health, and may contribute to reducing the risk of certain cardiovascular conditions. More importantly, donating blood brings a sense of fulfillment, knowing that a simple act of kindness can provide hope and a second chance for patients.
EVERY DROP OF BLOOD BRINGS HOPE
The program welcomed the participation of many TV TPI employees, with a total of 13,650 mL of blood donated. Before donating, all participants underwent health screenings and medical assessments conducted by healthcare professionals to ensure both donor safety and the quality of the collected blood.
Although everyone’s contribution may seem small, these donations create a meaningful source of hope for patients who rely on blood transfusions during their treatment. The program also reflects TV TPI’s continued commitment to creating positive social impact through practical community initiatives, contributing to a healthier, more compassionate, and sustainable society.
Upon completing the donation process, participants were presented with certificates of appreciation by the Ho Chi Minh City Humanitarian Blood Donation Center, recognizing company’s generosity and commitment to the community.
