In September, TV TPI organized a visit to Thien An Shelter Home in An Ninh Commune, Tay Ninh Province as part of the “Moonlight For Children” program, bringing a warm and memorable Mid-Autumn Festival celebration along with meaningful gifts to the children being cared for at the shelter.
Located in An Ninh Commune, Tay Ninh Province, Thien An Shelter Home is home to 40 underprivileged children who are lovingly cared for by Mother Hong. For many of the children, enjoying a Mid-Autumn Festival filled with lanterns, festive treats, and joyful activities is a rare opportunity. Understanding this, TV TPI launched the “Moonlight for Children” charitable program with the hope of creating a more meaningful and memorable Mid-Autumn Festival for the children while promoting the spirit of compassion and community responsibility, values that have always been at the heart of the company’s sustainable development journey.
Departing from Ho Chi Minh City on the morning of September 27, 2026, the TV TPI team was warmly welcomed by Mother Hong and the children at the shelter. Throughout the program, employees organized a variety of engaging activities, with one of the highlights being a Mid-Autumn lantern decorating workshop, where each child had the opportunity to decorate and personalize their own lantern. The children’s laughter, cheerful songs, and excitement filled the shelter with a festive atmosphere, creating unforgettable memories for both the children and the volunteers.
In addition to the recreational activities, the TV TPI team prepared nutritious homemade meals for the children, hoping to provide not only a delicious meal but also the warmth of sharing and togetherness. For many of the children, it was a special opportunity to enjoy a heartfelt meal prepared with genuine care and affection. The company also presented a variety of practical gifts to support the children’s daily lives and education. Although modest in material value, each gift reflected TV TPI’s sincere hope of helping the children access better learning opportunities, develop with confidence, and pursue a brighter future.
During the program, Mother Hong shared her heartfelt appreciation: “Your presence is a wonderful source of encouragement and love for children.” Her words reflected that TV TPI’s visit brought far more than material support, it delivered emotional encouragement, compassion, and genuine care to every child at the shelter.
