To realize its strategy of elevating human resource quality and thoroughly preparing for large-scale operational projects, TV TPI recently organized a successful intensive training course themed “Development of Analytical Methods for Finished Drug Products” for personnel from the OHI Institute and the Drug Registration Department. The course provided practical, updated knowledge of great significance to TV TPI’s staff.

Training Course Led by a Leading Industry Expert
Aiming for high-quality, in-depth professional training, TV TPI was honored to have the direct guidance and instruction of Prof. Ph.D. Nguyen Duc Tuan – Vice Dean of the School of Pharmacy and Head of the Department of Analytical Chemistry & Quality Control at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Ho Chi Minh City.

Leveraging his extensive knowledge and rich experience, the professor led the class through essential topics, bridging core theory with practical factory applications, including:
- Overview of Analytical Methods in the Pharmaceutical Industry: Highlighting the role of analytical methods in quality control and common methods applied to finished drug products.
- Development and Validation of Analytical Methods: Guiding the selection, design, and validation processes according to international standards (ICH, USP, EP, etc.), while sharing key evaluation parameters such as accuracy, precision, repeatability, limit of detection (LOD), and limit of quantitation (LOQ).
- Application and Implementation in Factories: Demonstrating how to integrate analytical methods into the quality control system, handle deviations, and make adjustments when methods prove unsuitable in a manufacturing environment.
Capacity Building as a Foundational Pillar for TV TPI’s Growth
The pharmaceutical sector is a specialized field demanding absolute precision and continuous alignment with national and international standards, where personnel quality directly determines corporate reputation.

Recognizing this, TV TPI places the enhancement of employee knowledge and skills at the core of its strategic priorities. In particular, ahead of the inauguration and operational launch of the compliant Reiwapharm Pharmaceutical Factory, equipping the research team with deep expertise is a prerequisite step. A highly competent workforce not only optimizes quality control processes and minimizes risks but also serves as a proactive launchpad for technological breakthroughs across the entire system.
Through the training course “Development of Analytical Methods for Finished Drug Products” taught by a leading expert like Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duc Tuan, TV TPI hopes to offer OHI Institute and Drug Registration Department members an opportunity to standardize their competencies, while igniting enthusiasm to master technology and confidently contribute to TV TPI’s future growth journey.
